TODAY JUNE 7,2009 I ATTENDED AN OLD FRIEND AND CLASSMATE'S FUNERAL AND I HAD THOUGHTS OF THE MANY FRIENDS I HAD AND THE ONE'S WHO HAVE GONE TO A BETTER PLACE. DAVID FISHER WAS THIS OLD FRIEND AND CLASSMATE, SOME OF YOU MAY REMEMBER HIM FROM FRENCH HIGH SCHOOL. I WISH I COULD AGAIN SEE ALL OF MY OLD FRIENDS AND CLASSMATE'S BUT I KNOW THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE SO MAYBE SOME OF YOU WILL SEE THIS AND KNOW THAT I MISS YOU. HAVE BEEN MARRIED TO LUCILLE COCRAN BESS SINCE SEPTEMBER 1950. WE HAVE THREE CHILDREN WHO ALSO GRADUATED FROM FHS IN 1972, 1975, AND 1977. I GRADUATED FROM TEXAS A&M IN 1953 AND SERVED IN THE AIR FORCE 1953-55. COACHED AT FHS 1958-1965. RETIRED FROM THE BEAUMONT ISD IN 1987. WE HAVE 7 GRANDCHILDREN. .
