I have been married to the same man for almost 32 years. My husband is a high school Geometry teacher and football and track coach. We have 3 daughters, one married, one in college and one a Senior in high school. I am an RN and work as an Assistant Director of Nurses for a large pediatric home health agency, in which I am also the QA Director among other things. Just busy. Will be excited to hear from you!

    Comments: I was only at FHS briefly (also went to BHS, then moved to Houston) but I enjoy reading about folks I knew. I have a BFA in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MAT (elem ed.) from Univ. of Ak. Southeast. I am a retired police detective from Ketchikan, Alaska (what else do you do with an art degree?) and am currently a fraud investigator at an Alaskan bank. I've been married for 24 years and have a 21-year-old daughter majoring in Russian and a 17-year-old son still in high school. If you get too hot in Texas, you should head this way. It's beautiful. (And Alaska is WAY bigger, you know.)

Still remember when Frank, Joe, Richard, and I would play spades at lunch. One time Joe was doing one of his Bill Cosby monologues and it was noisy in the cafeteria and we were not listening to him while we were playing spades. He yelled LISTEN real loud and the whole cafeteria went silent. I miss French High School!! Long live the Buffalos!!

    Comments: What a great idea. I am going through a nostalgic period and found this website. I wish I would have kept up with all my high school classmates. Let's see, a brief summary of what has happened in my life: Graduated from Lamar, moved to Houston and started in the pipeline industry. Married to Susan Collazo (TJ graduate) for 20 years. We have 4 sons, 17, 12, 10 and 5. Business has taken me to many places in the world. I had a great idea for a business, but a poor lawyer and bad partners forced me out. Lost a fortune, but I can say the company is one of the fatest growing businesses in Texas. Currently Tubular Sales Manager for a joint venture US and Greek company. Susan and I follow the boys activity and we are heavily involved with Katy High School, the best high school football team in the state. The nostalgia comes from watching my oldest son grow and prepare for college. It seems like yesterday that we listened to AM radio, KLVI for the hits, 11t! h street, Saratoga lights, bell bottoms, wide collars, leisure suits, on and on and on. Mom still works for the Post Office in Beaumont and Randall is a principal in BISD. Hope to hear from some of the old gang.

    Comments: (update - April '06) i have been married for 30 in june. i have a granddaughter by my daughter and her husband. my son is going to be married in august of this year. my favorite teacher was mr. singletary and my specail memory was sharing that strawberry hill with my friend linda and the older class mate. we thought we were so bad.......ha ha also, standing in the hall visting with friends and looking at all of the good looking guys.
    I have been married to Wesley Furlow for the last twenty-three years and have two children, Lonnie, 18 and Angie, 19. Lonnie is currently attending Lamar University and Angie works for Westend Medical Plaza. This past year, while working at St. Elizabeth, I ran into Dr's Bost and Oz(O.J.) I had the priviledge of staying home to raise our children, then went into banking for almost 6 yrs. Now, I have taken up oil painting and enjoy it very much. It keeps me very busy. She went to French her freshman year 72-73. We have three kids,Dusty(18),Colt(16),and Whitney(10). I have worked at Mobil Oil since 1978 and am now an outside machinist.We also own a knife store in Parkdale Mall and in Deerbrook Mall. Lee in Tyler and I am teaching kindergarten at Bell Elem. in Tyler.     I married Richard Ard (1974 Graduate) 24 years ago and we now have 2 kids, Stephanie-18 who is graduating this year from Hardin Jefferson and Jeff-16.     Comments: This is a hoot! It is great seeing names of people that you may not have even thought of for years.My life in a nutshell- I married Benny Wilkinson in May 1982. We had Mallory (now 13) in Nov. 1985 and then added Brett (now 11) in Feb. 1988. I was a hairdresser at that time which was great because I got back in touch with alot of old school friends who became my patrons and got to visit with them.(While getting paid, what a deal!)I decided in 1988 to go to college and get my teaching degree. I graduated from Lamar Spring 1993. I began teaching at the Lamar Early Childhood Development Center Fall of 1993. I am on my 6th year of teaching Pre-K there. I could teach as high as 8th grade but a good teacher friend wisely said that you should never teach kids taller than yourself so that limits me to about 3rd grade! Ben and I divorced in 1995. Mallory is a 7th grade Pegasus student at Odom Academy and Brett is in 5th grade Challenge at Roy Guess Elem. God as given me two really good kids! He has also blessed our family with a wonderful stepdad and new mate! I was remarried this past summer to Tommy Eller, a true Godsend! We got married in N.C. in his dad's backyard, 10 people and a dog, the perfect wedding! I hope to hear from some old friends, so please write me! Sorry, this was an awfully big nutshell!!! Lori
