    Comments: Howdy Buffs! I remember a lot of y'all listed in the guest book. I was the guy that always stood up at pep rallies and led our class in 'ad hoc' cheers. I went into the Army after FHS, then went to Lamar in '90, got married in '92, got Saved in '93, stayed in the National Guard (until retiring in '06) and started a career in environmental consulting. My wife and I have lived in the DFW area about 10 years. Hope to hear from some of my old compatriots and friends. Shout out to my brothers and sisters in Christ who always tried to help me see the Light, thanks.

Got a B.S. in Computer Science from Univ. of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an M.S. in Engineerring Product Development from Northwestern (Illinois). Not married, no children. Favorite teachers: Mrs. Myers (Geometry and Computers - anyone know where she is today), Mrs. Gilbert (Spanish), Mr. Cooper (English), Mr. Ruby (Chemistry). I have 3 children Darius 17, Kiara 16 and Tommy Jr is 10. My fondest memory would have to be graduation though it was a sad occassion I will never forget the guy(who will remain nameless) who threw up on my new shoes during the ceremony. Favorite teacher was Mr. Schim(journalism). I don't care what they say about him he was great with us.

    Comments: I was at French for my Freshman and Sophomore years before being forced by BISD into the B-CP campus of Central where I graduated in 1988. My High School Diploma has a picture of B-CP, but my transcripts says literally French High School. Although Central Senior High is no French, it retains many of the traditions started by FHS. In retrospect Central is a child of French and Central's crest reflects its nobel heritage. I was a Freshman in the Band when French went to the State 5A Championship. I remember every time I see the Dallas Cowboys playing in Texas Stadium that I stood in the center of that field at half-time just days before Christmas 1984. I would like to add that Dr. Slaughter had a defining role in shaping my character during High School. I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing recently and my sympathy goes out to his family. I think this site is awesome, you have obviously worked very hard and there is no doubt you bleed Orange and White

    Comments: I left Beaumont in 1985 for my old hometown in N.J. where I received an adult high school diploma. Then I gave the Air Force the next 5 years of my life. These were great years! I met my wife while in California and was trained as an Air traffic controller. I even ran into another French Alumni while stationed in Alaska, Mike Jacobs. I work in an Air traffic control tower in Central Wisconsin. My wife and I have 2 beautiful children. A girl 6 1/2 and a boy who just turned 1. We started investing in real estate 6 years ago buying, selling, and renting out homes and duplex's. 7 years ago my life drastically changed when I invited Jesus Christ into my life as my personal saviour. Our family is very active in our church serving in various capacities, primarily working as youth staff. So, that's who I am today. Looking forward to hearing from long lost pals. In Christ Love,Dave

    It just seems like yesterday that I left the hall's of French High School. I have so many fond memories of those years.     Comments: I had a great time attending French High School and I fought for it to stay open but it just wasn't enough. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Slater whom is now teaching at West Brook High . ALso Mr Armstrong he was a very good assistant principal in my years there.. Sprecial times was when french won the chapoinship and we had a great party and dance that night.. when we gratuated We had a party allday long at the fair grounds that the school gave which I still have pictures of..     Comments: I married Steve Shaver Jr. in 1990 and we have two children, ages 7 and 2. We live in Lumberton. I see a few French High students around town and in Beaumont. I work at St. Elizabeth Hospital and I also see some of my old friends (French High alumni) coming through there, mostly on happy occasions like having children. I keep in touch with Shirley Adams and Regina Dellahousaye on a regular basis, and of course my sister Pauline.
