Welcome to FHS Online Class Reunion


My name is Maribeth Segree Harris
and though I left French my Sophomore year - '67,
I left behind many friends and a lot of wonderful memories.

I'd been searching for those old friends for some time. And after 29 long years of searching, I found my best friend. In my search I met and talked to several FHS alumni online and they were scattered all over the U.S. so I thought I would bring us together for a online reunion.

Are you looking for old classmates too,
or just want to reminisce of times gone by?

Remember; Cruisin' 11th street, The Circle, Mr. Coody, Friday morning pep-rallies, battle of the bands at Gateway, seeing how many friends you could get in one car and going to the drive inn theatre or going to Lou Ann's & Big Oaks? :-) And who can forget weekends at Crystal Beach??

I've had several people e-mail me and ask me where I live now and they want to know a little more about "Gobet".
I left French in '67 and married Mike Harris - '66. We have 3 children( Michael, Sheri and Teri)and 8 grandchildren. *S* And in '89 after my stroke I "retired" from Eckerds. When I'm not working on web pages, I do crafts,I paint on anything I can get my hands on and love going to garage sales. Latley I have been "hooked" on E-bay.. SO I look for things to list on there. :-)
(Sept. 2000) After being away for almost 30 years I moved back to Beaumont in late April. I'll have to admit.. it's the last place I thought I'd ever be, but I really luv it here. It's like coming home....
Even though they (and for the life of me I don't know who THEY are) say you can't go "back". But a friend of mine said "home is within each of us". And we really never leave home.. it leaves us. How true.. we get too busy to stop and look back at the important things in life. I hope that my page brings us all BACK HOME!!
If only in our heart.
