Billy Biddle
Billy Wayne Biddle, 85, of Beaumont, Texas departed this life on Tuesday, January 22nd at Christus St. Elizabeth hospital. He was born on September 11, 1933, in North Zulch, TX to Beulah May Andrus Biddle and Carl Jackson Biddle. Billy graduated from French High School in 1952, where he excelled in athletics and was awarded a scholarship to SFA University. He gave service to his country as a military policeman for the US Army during the Korean War. Billy returned home to Beaumont where he worked as a Process Operator at local refineries and retired from Mobil Chemical. His hobbies were fastpitch softball and fishing. Billy was a proud member of the American Legion Post 33 and South Park Masonic Lodge #1320. He was also a member of Calder Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Beulah May Andrus Biddle and Carl Jackson Biddle; wife, Janet Sue Biddle; son, Paul Edward Biddle; and sister, Patricia Ann Mott. Survivors include: his son, William Wayne Biddle and his wife, Sonjia of Carmine; daughters, Kimberla Kettl and Dee Ann Chadney and her husband Jeff; all of Beaumont; grandchildren Heather Harvel and her husband Frank of Hockley; Lindsay Matlock and her husband Thomas of Liberty; Joshua Chadney and his wife Amanda of Georgetown; Courtney Chadney-Molero and her husband Diego of Billings, MT; Matthew Biddle of Susanville, CA; and 7 great-grandchildren. A gathering for Mr. Biddle's family and friends will be held Friday, January 25, 2019, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX. George Kelley
George Donald Kelley died Friday, November 27, 2009, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehab in Beaumont. Don was born on February 9, 1934, in Beaumont, Texas to Hoy and Beulah Kelley. He was a resident of Sam Rayburn, Texas for the past thirteen years. He was a graduate of French High School in Beaumont and Eastfield College in Dallas where he graduated with his degree in business.
He was an employee of Sun Oil Company for thirty-seven years and British Gas of the United Kingdom for six years. He is survived by his best friend and companion for the past thirty-four years, Barbara Kelley; daughters, Cheryl Sanders of Haskell, Oklahoma; Melissa Holt of Stillwater, Oklahoma; sons, Donald Gene Kelley of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mark Kelley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Allison, Kelley, Alexander, Neely and Jake; brother, Hoy Kelley of Wildwood, Texas; Marsha Crow of Wiley, Texas and Donna Louvier of Orange, Texas.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX 77703.


Jack Leon Summers
"Jackie" Jack Leon Summers, 75, of Vidor died Thursday February 5, 2009 at his residence. A native of Birmingham, AL., he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jack graduated in 1952 from French High School in Beaumont and went straight into the Army as a Paratrooper, along with 6 other graduates, they were referred to as the Magnificent 7.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday February 7, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin Friday, February 6, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Jack is survived by his sons Tony Summers of Beaumont, TX., Matt Summers of Bakersfield, CA., and Joe Summers of Shreveport, LA., daughters Vanessa Chesser and Tisha Armentrout both of Vidor, TX., and Zina Herrington of Henderson, TX., sisters Helen Deking of Magnolia, TX., Mary Anne Dubuisson and Lois Thompson both of Vidor, TX., 13- Grandchildren and 13- Great-Grandchildren. . Calvin J. Sellers
Calvin, 77, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, March 01, 2011, at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont. Born October 3, 1933, in Kaplan, Louisiana, to Ovilia Hanks Sellers and Aubrey Sellers, he was a resident of the Beaumont area for many years and graduated from French High School in 1952.
He worked as a machinist for Babin Machine Works for twenty years, then for Unocal Refinery for eleven years. Survivors include his children, Chris Sellers and his wife, Sandy of Beaumont, Judy Hickey and her husband, Ronnie of Cove, and Stephen Sellers and his wife, Nancy of Vidor; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Vernie Perry of Houston; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Arceneaux of Fort Worth. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Nell Sellers; grandson, Shane Sellers; brother, Allen Sellers; and sister, Helen Pope.
His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2011, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2011, with a Rosary to be recited at 5:30 p.m. and a Christian Vigil at 6:00 p.m., at Broussard's. Thomas James Jones
Our beloved husband and father, Thomas James Jones, age 74, of Vidor passed away April 26, 2009 at his residence. Thomas was born in Beaumont, TX on March 3, 1935. He married Welda Mallory in 1960. Lieutenant Brother retired from the Beaumont Police Department after 37 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by; Bobby Jones, Bettye Heathcock, Shorty Jones, and Tommy Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Welda Jones; son, Monty G. Jones and wife Valerie; daughters, Lynlie C. Jones, Mollye E. Solomon and husband Robin, Marva J. Jones; grandchildren, Slade, Zachary, Sarah, Audrey, Spencer, and Jessica; brothers, Wesley Jones, Leslie Jones, Jerry Droptini, Andrew Droptini Jr., Johnny Droptini; sisters, Ann Amy, and Carolyn Modica.
A gathering of family and friends took place, April 30, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
