Brenda Roberts
Brenda Roberts was born on June 5,1962 to the union of Wilbert White and Ella Mae Zachary in Beaumont, Texas. Brenda graduated from French High School class of 1981. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church and also enjoyed attending Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with her beloved daughter, Blake. Brenda's memory will be cherished by her daughter, Blake Roberts; fianc��, James Jackson; granddaughter, D'Laiyah Brantley; grandsons Jamorean Roberts, John Roberts III, Landon Nolbert; father, Wilbert White; godmother, Mary Thomas; sisters, Lisa Zachary, Carmaro Hervey (George), Cathy Smith (Chris), Patrice Colbert (Wilbert), Charlette Pleasant, Charlene Rideaux; brothers, Paul Zachary, Greg White, Micheal White, Alexander White; nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends. Our "angel Brenda," who created warmth and love wherever she went, will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her. A woman of faith, integrity and generosity, she leaves a legacy that is defined by her love for family and friends, as well as her selfless efforts to care for everyone who entered her life. Brenda devoted herself to nurturing and supporting her children, grandchildren and other family members with a ready ear to listen, a solid shoulder to lean on, and unwavering love to sustain them in the years ahead. Her gift of never-ending love extended into her passionate and dedicated service to the Julie Rogers Gift of Life Program, IEA-Inspire, Encourage, Achieve, the Ben Rogers "I Have A Dream" Program and other community outreach initiatives, forever changing the lives of hundreds of children and adults. Regardless of life's challenges, Brenda embraced every moment with courageous determination, radiating compassion and love. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am at the church with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. .


Timothy Segura
Timothy Aaron Segura, 53, of China, Texas passed away Saturday morning, August 27, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Tim was born July 7, 1963 in Beaumont, TX. and attended Eugene Field Elementary, Bowie Jr. High and graduated in 1981 from French High School. Baseball was his first love all through these years, and he was an excellent catcher. Tim also had a passion for music, and developed lifelong friendships with many area musicians. After graduating, he worked at Freeway Auto Parts, Kinsel Ford Parts Department, and finally at Goodyear Chemical Plant for 16 years, until an accident caused him to take a disability retirement.
Tim is survived by his wife, Lisa, son James Dalton (JD), a stepdaughter, Cierra Doucette, his parents Jim and Jeri Segura. He is also survived by his two sisters, Laurie Wilcox (Kenneth), Jamie Rayner (Michael), nieces, Kathryn Wilcox, Annsleigh Kelley, and nephew Kenny Wilcox, cousins, Shelly Amador of Austin and Rodney Segura of California. He is also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog Zakk.
Tims instruction to be cremated were honored. There will be a Memorial Celebration of his life in the future that will be announced. We will all miss his sense of humor, intelligence and generous, loving spirit. Published in The Beaumont Enterprise on Sept. 8, 2016
