Tracy Bennett
Tracy Tahara Bennett Johns was born April 27, 1965. She left this earthly life on August 3, 2014 as a true devoted believer in Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She graduated from French High School in 1983 and Lamar University in 1988. She served 6 years in the United States Army Reserves. She worked as a Detention Officer, Parole Officer and lastly, a teacher in BISD at Charlton-Pollard Elementary School.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her loving husband of 19 years, Kent Johns; parents, Terry & Alline Bennett; siblings, Jerryl Bennett (Pam), Kenneth Bennett (Pamela), Don Christopher Bennett (Deanna), Sondra Louis (Arthur), Lynette Bennett (Bobby);mother-in-law, Bobbie Johns; brother-in-law, Ted Johns, Jr., a host of nieces and nephews, other family, & friends.
Celebration of Life services for Tracy will be on Saturday, August 9th, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. The visitation will be at 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. She will be entombed at Magnolia Cemetery under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel.
