Class of '71 and Guests,
We are going to do it!
A reunion for the Class of ’71 is in the works, 40 Buffalo years have hurried by but we are still romping and stomping. The dates are set for October 14-15, 2011 and the following things have been planned.

Friday October 14:
Friday night, October 14th, we have reserved the patio area at Starvin Marvins (the old Hoffbrau’s) 2310 N. 11th in Beaumont (409-347-0058). We will be on the patio so dress is casual and drinks and food will be on your own. Make plans to come out, visit, and catch up with everyone. It will start at 7:00 P.M. and carry on until we can’t anymore (this comes much quicker than it used to).

Saturday October 15:
Saturday morning we will have golf at Idylwild (old Pinewood) at 9:00 A.M. If you want to play you can pay that morning at the course. However, we need to get a head count so if you plan to play please contact Billy Woodall at billy.woodall@yahoo.com or send the names of the players with your registration. We plan to start at 9:00 A.M. so be there early. Saturday evening we will meet at the Idylwild Magnolia room (1100 E. Pineshadows Dr, Sour Lake Tx 77659) from 8:00 P.M. until 1:00 A.M. Beer and Wine are available and you may bring anything else you wish to bring, however, all set-ups must go through the club. There will be a band and all the dancing you can stand.

The cost will be $ 25.00 per person with couples costing $ 50.00. Please try to send your payment before October 15th providing your name (girls your maiden name) and the name of your “date”. This will allow us to pay for the room, band, food and get a reasonable count of folks. The food will be finger food, veggies, etc. so there will be no big meal.

OUT OF TOWN BUFFS, We have made arrangements with the Holiday Inn Express 7140 Eastex Frwy (by Academy) for rooms at $ 89.00 per night. You may contact them at 409-892-3600 and be sure to tell them you are with the FHS reunion. They have a complimentary breakfast and are a nice new hotel. We are all looking forward to getting together, it has been too long. See you there.
