Most of the places we visited limit the decoration to table decorations. Balloons and center pieces are allowed. But nothing on the walls.

I know most of us don't think about renting the school, but I have used it for the mass reunions. It's nice to walk the halls of FHS again and it offers parking, the gym, and cafeteria. The school also offers some "catering". We did a spaghetti dinner served through the cafeteria line and it was GOOD!. Just something to think about!

The Barn

The Barn is a nice drive, but worth it. It is owned by an FHS alumni, Ron Stockholm '64 and offers a variety of things. The large banquet hall seats 150, but capacity is about 200. Sat. rental runs $800.00 from 7:00 PM to 12:00 PM. Wed. - Sun. it's $50.00 hr. with a minimum of 4hrs. It is located in the "woods" of the Big Thicket. He also offers camping, trailer hook ups and lodging.

This is a gym at the day care center. They lease it out for banquets to help support things for the children. It has the capacity of 250. rent is $750.00 with a $250.00 deposit. They offer NO tables, chairs or catering. www.happybeginningscdc.com
