Not much to tell. I have two wonderful sons, no grandchildren yet. Right now my sons are content with Harleys. As a matter of fact I am thinking of getting one myself, I don't like being left at home when they go riding. I lost my husband to cancer in Oct of '07, after 28 years of marriage. But dont dispare. I am in the streets as much as possible. I love dancing to county music and a member of the committee of the Houston Live Stockshow and Rodeo. I hope we have a reunion next year. Matter of fact a cruise would be great!

I left FHS the summer between my junior and senior year and moved to Arlington, Texas. I went to nursing school at
John Peter Smith School of nursing and I have been married to the same guy for 36 years. We have two children, Lindsey and Michael. Lindsey is
married with two children and Michael graduated from Texas A&M in December '08, going to law school in the fall '09. Would love to visit with old friends from FSH.

I'm still a teacher, however I teach at Cy-Woods High School (AP U.S. History)and In the Lone Star College System as an adjunct professor. My daughter is now 13 and I'm just learning about the teen years. I'm sad to hear abot Harry Hodge's passing. He was one of my closest high school friends

I am an associate pastor in a non-denominational church in Bellingham , Washington . My wife Lynnette, who is a “Greenie” (class of ’74) is the Director of Early Childhood in the same church. I am retired from BP after a 33 year career. I received a Chemical Engineering degree from Lamar in 1974, and ended up in an executive position with BP, but all that already seems far in the past. I don’t get to the site very often, but enjoy checking in from time to time to see what’s up. Who knows, maybe one of these days we’ll be back around Beaumont at the same time as a bonfire or something!

i loved French High. I go back ever so often. So many memories. I hear a "golden oldie" on the radio, and it instantly zaps me back. those were the days, i wish it still was that way! times have definately changed.....we are growing older!

Just updating info...and wanted to say hi!
9-06-03..Last night I recognized one of my classmates from French High School in my cafe (The Beach Rock Cafe)...as I have been living and working in Crystal Beach for over 2 years now, I am amazed that she was the first person I actually recognized (and she recommended viewing this site...thank you)...I remember many get-togethers at the beach in the late 60's and early 70's (bonfires were the highlight of the end of the day)....these memories are as vivid as the 11st circle.... :-)

I will be retiring at the end of this school. I have taught for 29 years and decided now is the time to get out!!!!! I have a grown daughter and 2 grandchildren who live in Brazoria. My most fun was at the pep rallies and the football games. I've stayed in touch with some of my life long friends. Would like to hear from any who is living in the Ft.Worth or by Richland Chambers Lake.I still enjoy the beach even though it is five hours away. Crystal Beach has really changed over the years. I liked it the way it use to be! Hope to hear from some "former" classmates. Margo

I've been married to Jaqi Williams 29 years, she graduated from South Park way back in 1970. She currently is teaching Latin at Central, and West Brook. We have three grown kids; Matt is a Chem E., who with his wife Stacey and our first grandchild Chloe, live in Dickinson,Tx. Scott is a cop, he and his wife, Donna, live in Arlington, Texas. And our youngest, Lauren is still at home, but will be marrying a fine young man, Ryan Gaines, next May. Hopefully, after thirty years it will be just me and Jaqi, on our own.
Where do I work?---I've spent the last 25 years, sweating it out as an operator at Ameripol Synpol. Highschool memories-Too many pretty girls and how shy I was.

I have happy memories of my years at Edwards Elementary, Bowie Jr. High and FRENCH, of course!!! I have worked in the Design Dept. at DuPont Beaumont Works since 1977. I married Karen Stark (FHS Class of '79) in '79. We have two children, Scott, 20, and Lauren, 17, both students at Lamar. I am no longer the skinny "stringbean" that I was in high school; in fact, some of you may have seen me and now known me! I eat Lean Cuisines for lunch and try to diet and exercise as my busy life allows. Both Karen and I enjoy our rewarding involvement in The Apostolic Church of Beaumont.(Recently got reacquainted with Mrs. Elizabeth Noone - 3rd Grade Teacher). Fave teachers at FHS include Mr. Steve Boston, Mrs. Zulma Smith (Spanish teacher), Mrs. Marjorie (Cunningham) Davidson, Dr. Florence Sawyer. Mom, Mary Ellen George Hughes is a '47 FHS Grad

What a wonderful site. I have mostly fond memories of FHS, especially the Band. I seems like yesterday. I have had a bumpy, adventure filled, not always fun life. However, may I say that things began to look up about 10 years ago.I lost my husband (didn't die, I just seemed to have misplaced him). I have since found myself married to a wonderful man, Mark, 8 years my junior who thinks I am beautiful, smart, and funny. I have a great son, Zach, who is absorbed with theatre and has a girlfriend who is a costumer. They are on their way to NY as we speak. At 26, I guess that he doesn't need my permission. He didn't ask for it anyway. I teach in a Montessori school and have for the last 10 years. We love to fish, camp, golf poorly, and the arts. Mark has been in professional theatre for 20 years. He is currently TD for the State Theatre in Austin. We have 3 cats, a dog, a duck, and various fish.
My sister and 2 brothers also went to French. Jimmy is here in Austin working as a mechanic and riding his Harley. He is a grandpa 7 times over. Matt is in Orange working for Chevron. Patty is in Vidor. She and her husband are owner-operators. She is a grandma 6 times over. I can't get Zach to even think about marriage much less kids. Well, I am a great Aunt!
Thanks again for this site. I was such a wall flower in HS that I bet no one remembers me, but I remember a lot of you.
